# Delete Your Account — Love Your Accountants App

## How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Love Your Accountants App account in two ways:

### Option 1 — In-App

1. Open the App and tap the **Settings icon** (cog, top right).
2. Select **Delete Account**.
3. Confirm your request when prompted.

Your account will be deleted **immediately** upon confirmation.

### Option 2 — By Email

Send an email to [management@loveyouraccountants.com](mailto:management@loveyouraccountants.com) including:

- Your full name.
- The email address registered to your account.
- A clear request to delete your account.

Email requests will be processed within **30 days** of receipt.

## What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

- Your user account and all associated personal data, including your email address.
- Your receipt history and all uploaded images.

## Important Information

- **Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.** Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- Deleting your account **revokes your App access immediately**.
- Receipt images are deleted as part of the account deletion process in accordance with our 30-day data retention policy.
